8 months later...

and I still haven't completed the Insanity 60 day workout!..

There are so many things happening at the moment that I don't know which way to turn, I feel like a weather bane atop a church on a very windy day.

To wit:

  • Just finished the P5 ACCA exam
  • kitchen being done (or undone) more of that later
  • Michael has got a place at St. Dunstan's College
  • Decided to run the Lisbon Marathon on 6th October
  • doing the house bit by bit
I am sitting on what was until two weeks ago the baby/green/back room, and also my office, but it is now the kitchen, and there is a off smell coming from the fireplace; I don't know if it is because Kitty Duffy, our youngest cat, has peed on the coal blocks or because there is a dead animal stuck in the chimney flume, neither prospect is very appealing!...

Day One and Two

I was supposed to start yesterday with the fit test but life got in the way, and Ikea flat packed furniture, and a few glasses of wine so I was ready to start wallowing  again this morning, ie business as usual, and put on another pound by the end of the week, but then I pulled by the bootstraps, and started watching youtube videos of before and after results of the insanity program and managed to get my sweet a--e of the sofa and do the fit test and then the workout.

Well, I did it and still have a bit of a glow inside, although I couldn't follow the last bit completely, the push ups are always a killer and I've never been able to do them properly.

So, for the stats: Weight: 146 lbs, fat 34.3%, I'm hping to get the weight down by at least 15lbs by the end of the challenge.

Food for today, so far:

Breakfast:
2 wheatabix - 134 cals
2 tablespoons of flax - 75 cals
milk - 100 cals

Lunch:
Home made soup - 100 cals
4 Ryvita - 120 cals
half a melon - 120 cals

So I have about 500 cals for diner

I need to get my head around the nutrition side of the insanity thing; 5 meals a day is tricky, but will try.

Made myself a wall place, on the inside of the boiler cupboard door. Bored with this post, will come back tomorrow....
